3rd Weekday PDT - Taupok!

The BROTHERhood turned up in uniform attire on the evening of 3 August 2010. We looked like we are attending prom night, except that the place we are in - Hong Lim Park - reminded us that we are a little overdressed.

What's with the Shades, Jia Le?

Some sisters attempted to infiltrate into the prestigious brotherhood by coming in white tops.

Before the PDT session commenced, NL Desmond announced the appointment of our Youth Leader and Assistant Youth Leader!

YL Mr Zatan Tan & AYL Ms Cheng Yu Hua

With the appointment of Yu Hua as AYL, Ika will take over the portfolio of Contingent Assistant Treasurer.

A little warm-up before we start our dance practice...

Performing Arts Committee members choreographing the dance.

The Highlight of the day was the Taupok session. Triggered by the "fastest finger first" aka 一阳指 yi yang zhi (a finger martial arts skill recorded in novels), the "innocent" Jonathan enjoyed a delicious Taupok meal.

For those unfamiliar with Taupok, it literally means tofu puff. Using the Urban Dictionary definition:
Taupok is a situation "in which a pack of males fling themselves, one of top of another, upon a victim lying prostrate on the ground. Said males tend to be in the 14-19 age group, and to have had an all-boys education at at least one stage of their lives. The taupok may or may not be consensual, but this is of little consequence. Motives are, ahem, wide-ranging."

The Finger Power

Poor Jonathan... or Lucky Jonathan?

As the going gets tough, the tough gets going and the fun is accumulating!
